I am in central Indiana and always have the best luck with these. There’s three in this planter and they are 8’4” tall right now. I water daily, but no fertilizer or anything on them. They’re planted in the same Miracle Gro potting soil that was used last season.

I just transplanted one. I hope mine shows off, too!

Wow! I usually ‘top’ the indeterminate tomatoes once I need a step ladder to reach the top. But I always let a few plants grow without much interference, and these look great!

I’m finding this out with Sweet 100’s this year. It is my first time growing them and they get SOOOO tall. I’m in Atlanta (8a) and they are over 8′ as well. I have 7 with three of them being about a month behind.

  4. How do you get them to stand upright? Mine are approaching 5.5 feet and I’m concerned they might fall over during some strong winds/storm. They’re about 2 feet above the tomato cage now

What do you prefer when you pick your tomatoes? A step ladder or stilts?

I have one of these and it’s doing so well. I had planted some from seed last summer and this year I’ve had about 2 dozen volunteers crop up!

  8. Omg I just got the seeds in the mail for next year and I’m scared hahaha. This is amazing and I’m looking forward to the insanity. 🥲

Holy crap, why are yours so strong and tall? Mine are nearly falling over and they’re like half that height.

  10. Are these worth topping at 8ft to mange better?
