Its going to get worse before it gets better for these independent shops. Support the ones you truly love with your money, don’t spread it around or more will fail. Better 1 surviving and 1 failed restaurant then both failing. Since resto owners say sales are down by 50% and they lose money when sales are down by just 10%.

Municipalities need to start putting limits on chain restraunts. Killing off family run restraunts in favor of giant corporations has been an absolute disaster for the middle class.

We need rent control on commercial properties :((( businesses die because the landlords jack up their rents like 200% if they want to
