I love some good sourdough bread and have been trying different places. I saw that ThoroughBread had sourdough and good looking cookies, so I decided to try it out yesterday. I got a loaf of white sourdough and a couple cookies. The chocolate chip cookie was pretty good!
When I got home, I unwrapped the loaf of sourdough from the brown bag and the loaf looked burned. I thought maybe it just appears that way, so I cut off a piece and tried it. It definitely tasted burned to me. Is this normal for them, or did I just get a bad loaf??
They had a stock of about 15-20 loaves sitting out, so I find it weird they would sell a burned one unless they were all like that. Is this normal?
