Kontrast () Oslo

So my friend and I went on a quick Norway trip with a restaurant in Oslo and one in Bergen! Lovely drive – Can recommend!

Since Maaemo was closed for the summer, we opted for Kontrast instead in Oslo!

In general really good service and an okay wine pairing. We went for the exclusive pairing which felt a bit lousy…

In general the food was okay. I missed some “WOW” bites. The one coming nearest was the potato+caviar crustade (third picture).

The fish+flower and the chicken dish was also delightful, though in general a bit below the 2 star stamp they have! Especially the bread serving was very dense and boring.

We are already planning a Maaemo trip at the moment.
