I'm currently launching a fine dining pop-up series in Berlin together with a friend who’s a Michelin-starred chef. The concept: great food and wine in unique spaces (spacious living rooms, empty bars, etc.). The idea is one long table, open kitchen, laid-back vibe but with serious attention to detail. Kind of like underground fine dining.
The first editions went really well and the feedback has been amazing. The only issue: we're reaching mostly friends-of-friends and barely beyond. Don't get me wrong, it's amazing cooking for friends, but if we eventually want to do this more than once a month, it won't be sustainable.
So here’s my question:
Where do you discover events like this? Supper clubs, pop-ups, hidden dining spots. Where do you usually hear about them? We're located in Berlin, but I guess this cuisine attracts similar people around the globe.
Thanks in advance!

Promote it here, would love to join if I am in town
Will be in Berlin in Dec and would love you join if you are hosting one then!
You could make an Instagram account and post pop up alerts in your story/follower chat.
I follow one for when I’m in Seattle and it works great. Feel free to dm if you want to see their account for reference.
It’s normally through word of mouth. Were you a head chef or more in Berlin? Or is your friend known in the city?
Lots of my contacts are through my old suppliers and visit Berlin/fineschmecker/old gastro contacts.
Some people use social media but I, nor friends who do pop ups such as yours, don’t. That is just for food truck style things.
Email lists, reddit, instagram, tik tok (depending on your crowd), food influencers (i.e people with a built in following with similar interests. Free for them and good for the brand), collab with wine or food brands, get writeups in whatever your version of timeout or eater is – lots of ways! and if you do make an email list feel free to let me add myself to it. Good luck!
