De Vinci’s Italian restaurant announced on social media that they’ll be delivering their last slices next month.Customers say the food served there compares to no other.“The pizza absolutely, I think that it is truly the best pie in town,” stated Ryan Gaither.In fact, the restaurant is such a staple that customers are allowed to hang banners of their alma mater while they enjoy familiar favorites.“Everyone’s going to really miss that, not to mention the quality that they put into their food and their kinship with their patrons,” Gaither said.Owners of the restaurant released a statement saying:”After 64 amazing years in business, our journey comes to an end. Our landmark building is being turned over to a new owner, we will miss you all. Thank you for the years of patronage and hope to see you again before we say goodbye.””I’m happy they held on as long as they did. I mean, I don’t feel that anyone needs to be pressured to do something that isn’t in the best interests of their life or family, so I just thank them for going on as long as they did,” Gaither said.
