Nut Filling
* 150g pistachios
* 150g walnuts→ Chop and mix together.
Assembly
* 16 sheets of phyllo dough
* 150g melted butter
1. Brush one sheet of phyllo with melted butter.
2. Sprinkle 2 tbsp of the nut mixture over the sheet.
3. Add another phyllo sheet on top, brush with butter, and sprinkle nuts again.
4. Roll it up like in the video, then gently press the ends inward toward the center.
5. Repeat this process to make 8 rolls total.
Baking
* Lightly brush your baking pan with melted butter.
* Place the rolls in the pan and brush with butter.
* Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40–50 minutes, until golden brown.
Syrup
* 200g sugar
* 240 ml water
* Lemon peel
* 1 tbsp lemon juice
→ Bring everything to a boil and let it simmer for 5–6 minutes.
Finishing
* Once the rolls come out of the oven while still hot, pour the syrup over them.
* Let them soak briefly, then transfer to a separate dish.
* Decorate with crushed pistachios and rose leafs.
