Hey all!

I’ve gotten two Jalapeno pepper plants from a Steins, back in May.

The plant has lots of nice flowers on it so I was excited and wanted to purchase that one in hopes they will bear fruit sooner rather than later.

Fast forward to now, July- two whole months to a TEE, it has many peppers- however I’m not so sure they are Jalapeños.

At first when the first stages of the peppers grew, I thought they were tiny due to the branches so clustered together. So brushed it off, then as time went on the pepper kept growing and stayed that tiny, with pointed tips, not rounded like a jalapeño pepper.

My other jalapeño plant is doing great and is growing peppers as normal. So it really leads me to believe these are not jalapeños and I have been bamboozled by a mislabeling.

I will add more recent photos soon, as this one is already four days old.
