Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his new wife, Lauren Sanchez, were seen enjoying a private dinner at a luxury restaurant in Miami following their lavish wedding celebrations in Europe.
According to TMZ, the billionaire couple dined at AVIV, a high-end Israeli restaurant located inside 1 Hotel South Beach. The exclusive dinner on Tuesday night was reportedly attended only by Bezos, 61, Sanchez, 55, and their security personnel.
Their appearance in Miami comes shortly after their headline-making three-day wedding festivities in Europe, which reportedly hosted over 200 high-profile guests. The event, dubbed by some international media as the “wedding of the century”, drew both admiration and criticism for its grandeur and cost.
AVIV, the restaurant they chose, is known for its fine Israeli cuisine and is run by acclaimed chef Michael Solomonov and restaurateur Steve Cook. The name “Aviv” means “spring” in Hebrew.
Jeff Bezos, one of the world’s richest individuals, owns three properties in Miami’s exclusive Indian Creek Village, sometimes referred to as the “Billionaire’s Bunker.”
Meanwhile, reports continue to swirl around Bezos’ potential interest in acquiring Condé Nast, the parent company of Vogue magazine. The rumours intensified after Lauren Sanchez appeared as the digital cover star for Vogue this month, donning a Dolce & Gabbana gown allegedly selected by the magazine’s longtime editor, Anna Wintour.
While sources close to Bezos have denied any plans to purchase Condé Nast, speculation remains, especially after a wave of layoffs and office closures within the company.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have remained in the spotlight since announcing their engagement and continue to attract public and media interest with their high-profile appearances and luxurious lifestyle.
