We have called both places every day since the initial post. Howies gave us so much of a run around but we finally got to a manager. After explaining and talking to them the order got remade but a refund was in the hands of doordash per their policies.

DoorDash finally told us today that they wouldn't be giving us a refund, they thought we were lying and that we had "pulled the images from google" and they are under no obligation to compensate us for their error. I'm going to keep pestering them until somebody gives me our money back. Some shit customer service and some shit policies.

  1. I straight up go to my card provider. Every single time I’ve had an issue with something, I explain it to them, and they issue a refund to me. Then I blast them with reviews, along with a CC going all the way up the corporate ladder, and then I ensure I never use that company again.

    DoorDash, Uber Eats, I refuse to use them.

    You can call your bank and explain to them you were charged without the requested services being rendered, and they’ll probably cancel the charge. I’ve done that before when dealing with bad faith companies.

    I’d go through a different door dash rep or get a supervisor.

    Alternatively dispute it but I don’t think that’s even necessary.

    Stooped using doordash around 2019. I ordered food for pickup and the store said they never recieved it. I wait 30 minutes and still nothing. I reach out to doordash and they say go back to the store they shpuld have it.

    I’m thinking I don’t have time for this I didn’t get my food and r refused to refund like $5 since it. Told them to cancel my account and i never used them again. I dont do delivery do it was never an issue gor me.

  8. I’m honestly surprised you had this much trouble. I’ve gotten refunds with less proof by just clicking through the options in the app. I think there were a couple of times when they didn’t even want a photo.

    DoorDash really sucks for customer service. Once had them deny a $70+ refund for undelivered food because it was “delivered” as per the dashers picture. I repeatedly explained that this picture was not of my house, my delivery instructions specify the color of my house which this one was not. They jumped through every possible hoop to deny my refund because the order was “delivered”.

    Call your financial institution.
