Call me crazy if you want, but I’ve never liked storebought pesto. I don’t know why. I think it’s cuz it never has enough garlic or flavor. It’s fine because I think it tastes better homemade anyways, and it’s very easy. For dinner tonight, I’m literally just having pesto and noodles because girl, dinner, and cuz I’m lazy. I don’t want to put more than like 10 minutes of effort into dinner tonight. Two garlic cloves, 1/3 cup parmesan, a tablespoon and a half of pine nuts. I also made this exact same pesto with my ficasha bread video. I just figured why not? I’ll show you what I eat on a normal day when I’m lazy and don’t want to cook something. A tablespoon of olive. Wait, this is a lemon. That’s pretty good. I think my brain was thinking of ficasha bread and then I was like, olive oil. If you know, you know. Now I just associate the two together. Cup of packed basil. We lost a leaf. 1/4 cup olive oil. Now we add the olive oil. Blend this until smooth. Wait, I lied. Hold on. A little pinch of salt. Taste test. Oh no. So much better than storebought. I can’t get over it. You could also toast the pine nuts and that would be really good, but I’m lazy. Little bit of pasta
