This July, a handful of local businesses will be celebrating Bastille Day with fun pop-up events and dinners. Bastille Day is France’s national holiday that celebrates liberty, community, and French pride. Here, down under, we will be celebrating sipping Champagne and indulging in croissants and escargot. Alliance Française Bastille Day Celebration

Alliance Française d’Adélaïde are hosting a spectacular Bastille Day celebration filled with French charm at the Fullarton Park Community Centre. Enjoy a complimentary glass of Champagne upon arrival, then dine on a three-course meal with French classics like salade lyonnaise, boeuf bourguignon, chocolate mousse and Grand Marnier compote. There’ll be bar service with French wine available for purchase, and guests will be enchanted by live musical entertainment throughout the evening. There will be plenty for kids to do, with fun-filled activities including crafts and a special movie screening.

Le Tour du Marché: The French Market Tour

Bastille Day at A Prayer for the Wild at Heart

A Prayer For The Wild Heart is bringing back their Bastille Day celebrations in 2025, on July 12th, with a $99 four-course feast. Head Chef Stéphane Brizard will be exploring his culinary roots from Brittany with a beautiful curation of South Australian seafood & produce. Award-winning sommelier and manager Mathilde Tytgat will present a tour of four regions of France with her optional four-glass pairing for $75, including champagne.
