First Delmonico grilling in years and they were top notch. We typically have ribeyes but these were very tender and tasty

Nice turtle filet on the top! Mine have so much shell. Maybe I need a bigger turtle to start with.

Both propane and charcoal have their applications. I prefer charcoal for a number of things, but there’s no shame in using the gas grill.

taste the meat not the heat, I’ll tell you huat!

Some places have burn bans during the summer months that include charcoal grilling. Some people are stuck with propane only. Propane is just fine. There is something to be said about the flavor that comes from cooking with charcol that you just can’t replicate with Propane. On that note… I am tired of hearing these whiney bitch ass gate keepers trashing on Propane. Everything doesn’t have to taste like smokey charcoal to be good, and some people prefer the flavor of the meat. But that’s just one dudes take. To each their own

Gotta do what is right by you. To each their own. Both taste great if done right.

I do charcoal, I do propane, depends on the mood. When I do propane I use a cast iron plank and baste them in butter. I feel it tastes better than over direct propane heat.

Dude no worries. Sometimes gas is easier. Like I’ll come home from work and ny wife will ask for grilled chicken. 15 minutes makes a difference when the kids are hungry.

As a guy with 4 charcoal grills, it would be nice, every once in a while, to have instant heat, ready for cooking. Maybe someday.
