Immersive Tour Includes Hands-On Vineyard Walk, Cellar Excursion, Guided Tasting Flight and More
July 17, 2025 (Paso Robles, CA) — Linne Calodo today introduced its new “Extended Experience”—a one-of-a-kind tour that leads guests through the vineyard, into the cellar and over to the tasting room for an exclusive tasting flight of five current releases and one rare library wine, all paired with cheese, charcuterie and estate-grown olive oil.
Each Extended Experience is hands-on and customized to the interests of each group. Along the way, guests learn about Linne Calodo’s proprietary “nature positive” vineyard practices and the winery’s singular commitment to crafting blended wines instead of single varietal wines. Each tour is led by a dedicated winery guide who has expertise in both production and hospitality. The experience is showcased in a new video and may be booked online at LinneCalodo.com. The cost is $90 ($50 for members).
“We are changing the game for wine lovers who want to go beyond the norm and personally connect with what’s in the bottle,” said Proprietor & Winemaker Matt Trevisan. “This tasting experience is thoughtful, unhurried and unique—everything we want our guests to feel during their time at Linne Calodo.”
The Extended Experience was intentionally developed to engage all of the senses. “The Extended Experience is a very tactile tour, you are going to feel, see and smell everything,” said Linne Calodo Wine Educator Chase Welcher, who helped formulate the tour. “We start with a walk through our 100-year-old oak forest and into the vineyard, where you experience the terroir while taking a deep dive into our farming practices—and that’s just the beginning.”
A Paso Robles Trailblazer
Linne Calodo helped spark the Rhône-style blend movement in Paso Robles when Matt and Maureen Trevisan founded their winery in 1998. The Trevisans are also longtime champions of Zinfandel blends that reflect the heritage of the region. During more than 25 vintages, Linne Calodo has created some of the region’s most enduring and notable wines, including Rising Tides, Overthinker and Cherry Red.
Linne Calodo subscribes to “nature positive” farming, a phrase that Trevisan coined to describe the proprietary vineyard practices at Linne Calodo. These practices draw heavily from organic, regenerative and biodynamic schools of farming, but do not fall under any single certification. “During the Extended Experience, you will learn why we prefer to farm without being boxed in by templates and checklists,” Trevisan said. “Our approach is specifically tailored to the well-being of our local environment and natural resources.”
