This is my first year gardening and I haven’t harvested anything yet! Next year, I’m hoping to have raised beds and some diy trellises to help vine things better. Then hopefully I’ll see some better results.

The answer is YES. Last year I had an exceptional harvest. The fridge was full, the counters were full, the freezer was full, my friends were full, we were full. So, I spent a weekend canning them. I finished with 21 quarts of finished tomato sauce. Having never canned before it was an interesting process.

This year I am back in the mode of there can never be enough. I have already harvested probably 2/3 of my tomatoes and only the fridge and freezer are full. I still have empty counters and I haven’t even given too many away yet.
