Salads from those small towns just hit different. The fact that he got spinach was pretty lucky. I had one like that in Wyoming but it was some Kale instead of lettuce and it was so tough that it tasted like it had been left outside to grow all winter. It didn’t have Chex but it had huge croutons that would blast off the roof of your mouth.
