Butter me up for summer 🧈🌿

Part 2 β€” Lemon Herb Garden Butter 😍

Whenever I can incorporate ingredients from my own garden I will, this butter is no exceptionπŸ₯°

It’s the perfect blend of lemon herb, I’m telling you, you’ll be obsessed 😍

Ingredients:
– 2 cups of Organic Heavy Cream
– 1 tbsp of chopped fresh chives
– 1 tsp of fresh thyme, finely chopped
– 1/2 tsp of fresh oregano, finely chopped
– 1/2 tsp of fresh rosemary, finely chopped
– Zest of 1 lemon
– 1 tsp of Flaked sea salt

Instructions:
1. Add the cream to a stand mixer with the whisk attachment. Start whisking on low then bring up the speed to medium.
2. Once the cream begins to look like whipped cream, increase the speed.
3. You know it’s done when the solids and liquid separate.
4. Pour the butter through a fine mesh sieve. Save the buttermilk for later!
5. Squeeze out all the liquid from the butter and place into an ice bath to rinse off. I like to knead underneath the water a few times to make sure to remove all the excess buttermilk.
6. Remove from the ice bath and squeeze any excess water from the butter. Place on a clean paper towel and pat dry.
7. Place the butter in a clean stand-mixing bowl with the paddle attachment and add your remaining ingredients. Adjust the salt to your liking.
8. Wrap and shape the butter in parchment paper, placing in the fridge for 20 minutes to set.
9. Store in an air tight container in the fridge and enjoy your butter!
