Casa de Campo Resort & Villas kicked off its highly anticipated Wine Tasting Series 2025 with a sold‑out weekend celebrating Argentine wines, presented by American Express.
Held July 4–5 at the charming La Piazzetta restaurant, the event treated guests to a seven‑course pairing dinner crafted by executive chef Rodrigo Menéndez and matched with a curated selection of Argentine vintages led by certified sommelier Eduardo García.
Diners embarked on an oenological journey through Argentina’s most lauded regions, savoring robust reds and crisp whites that showcased the country’s diverse terroir. Each dish was designed to complement the wines’ complexity, achieving a seamless balance between gastronomy and enology.
“The harmony between each course and every pour was essential to create a memorable experience where every sip and bite told a different story of Argentina,” Menéndez said.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Altos de Chavón, the evening doubled as a gathering for wine enthusiasts and community members who shared an intimate, lively night of flavor and fellowship.
The Argentine edition marks the first installment of an international tasting series that will continue throughout the year, spotlighting other renowned wine regions.
Casa de Campo thanked guests for raising a glass to Argentina and encouraged oenophiles to watch for upcoming Wine Tasting Series 2025 events, which promise to bring the best of the world’s cellars to the Caribbean resort.
