mantu needs some ingredients such as: carrot, garlic, green chilli, black pepper, tomatoes, meat, Plain Yogurt(chaka yogurt), onion, flour.
first add oil and Cook until the meat is half-way cooked for about 15 to 20 minutes. after that we add garlic and carrot after mixing it for 5 minutes we add chopped onion with chopped green chilli and salt with black peppers.
Add tomato and tomato paste. Add split peas and ¾ cup water and cook for 30–45 minutes until soft.

Afghan mantu is perhaps the most popular dish from Afghanistan. Oil the base of steamer to prevent sticking and place dumplings carefully across oil.
after completing all four layers put on oven for 20 minutes and change they layers for steamer after 20 minutes and put it for 20 more minutes total 40 minutes.
When the dumplings have cooked, add a thin layer of the Plain Yogurt(chaka yogurt) mixture to a large serving plate. Place the steamed dumplings on top.
Garnish with dried mint and a little bit of cayenne pepper.
