I’m in downtown Seattle. Let’s see if we can find some good clam chowder. First place we stopped at was Pikees Place Fish Market to see the famous fish throw. And after that, we stopped at Pikees Place Chowder to get some clam chowder. This was super flavorful, nice, rich, and creamy, and they even give you bread for dipping. This is really good. Let’s see if we can make it at home. My chowder. I’m going to start by slicing up my bacon and throwing this into the pot and letting it render down. Once it’s rendered, we can remove it from the pot and start on our vegetables. I’m going to dice up some celery, potatoes, and onion. All these into small cubes. with our celery, onions, and garlic, and a knob of butter with some flour and stock. Going with some fresh minced time and our potatoes. For about 10 minutes of our potatoes cooking, we can chop up our clams and throw in our heavy cream. Toss in our bacon and season with salt and pepper. Throw in some clam juice and go on with our garnishes and it’s ready to eat. That’s the wishes.
