If you’re an early riser, you’ll easily find coffee and croissants in resort, or just a quick coffee on the go. And like any French town or village, you’re never far from a bakery that offers not just croissants and coffee, but also delicious cakes, pastries, and fresh morning baguettes.

Child friendly restaurants
Most, if not all of the restaurants in resort are child friendly, especially if you let them know in advance. Evening meals are normally served from 19:00, and the restaurants are quieter at this time than later on.

Welcoming and friendly bar, located in the centre of resort and close to the telecentre mid-station, it couldn’t be easier to access from anywhere in the resort, or on your way down from the mountain.

It’s a family run Italian restaurant, popular with locals and holidaymakers and for that reason alone it’s worth popping in to make a reservation instead of chancing that you might be able to drop in and get a table.
Allo PapaPizza Restaurant

Pizzas can be ordered at the pizza shop, and delivered to your table in the Irish bar next door. Or get them to take away and have a drink whilst you wait.
Michelin starred restaurants
Whilst Alpe d’Huez has no Michelin starred restaurants (yet), there are a few favourites that are recommended by the Michelin guide that offer well thought out three-course menus, traditional alpine cuisine with a gourmet twist.
