
I really like japchae as a banchan, but I think it makes such a good main too, especially if there are lots of vegetables.
This was my second attempt this evening because I overcooked my first batch of noodles, and it ended up being a gluggy clump.
Ingredients other than the noodles are:
White onion
Red capsicum
Yellow capsicum
Chives (instead of spinach because it gets mushy)
Garlic stems
Mushroom
Carrots
Beef
The sauce is light soy, dark soy, maple syrup, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
The pickled radish and white kimchi are not homemade. They were purchased from a local Asian supermarket.
