    Looks like a very evenly cooked steak that’s medium. If it was medium rare it would have red in the center.

    raw means it’s slightly transparent, this is not transparent

    might be the wrong word, we say “glasig” in German meaning “glassy”

    Mood a variant of well done to medium rare-ish; absolutely not raw.

    Research reverse sear for steak cooking, you get an edge to edge perfect color and even cook, versus the grey on the outside and pink in the middle.

    Keep cooking, that’s how we all get better!
