I had the same experience recently. Got a tin about 2 years ago that I was going to use to make something. Then I just kinda forgot. Then recently said screw it and just popped the tin and ate them straight up. Was one of my favorite tins I’ve popped. Even the liquid was amazing, slurped it all down. So tasty
