Got there at 4 minutes past opening & there was already four groups ahead of us, a pretty good sign.
They're known for making their own dough so we had dim sum & sharing items, so I can't comment on the entrees like the chow mein, but I was pretty jealous of a nearby table that did have them.
We had the three items pictured and also the pork soup dumplings.
The pork soup dumplings were flavorful and had a beautiful texture I'd give them 4/5.
The salt and pepper squid was absolutely the best thing we had, huge flavor, great crunch, 5/5. Also a large portion.
The bbq bao buns were the biggest let down, the bao themselves were beautiful and soft, but the filling was pretty flavourless and there wasn't much of it, so overall they were a little dry. 2.5/5.
The beef in the beef rolls was super soft and the bread was crunchy and oily but again this slightly lacked flavour. 3/5
Other notes: service was quick and direct. Food came out fast. The black vinegar and the chili crisp on the table is awesome.
Will definitely be visiting again.

The fried pork buns and the pickled fish soup are very good there
I live close by and have tried a lot of their menu already. Huge fan of the wonton in chili oil and the pork buns (but I do agree with you that I wish their filling was more intense in flavor, but I just love doughy buns)
