    Japanese-style soft pork slices in soy sauce sweet gingery sauce!

    • ⁠bought packets of pork collar sliced meats typically for hotpot

    • ⁠sliced onions, grated ginger, and sliced ginger (can never go wrong with more ginger)

    • ⁠mixed water, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar into a large pot and poured everything in to bring to a boil

    • ⁠shift to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. VERY IMPORTANT to have a “scum skimmer” to take out the dirty impurities and oil

    • ⁠boiled veggies in the same sauce after removing the meat

    • ⁠topped it off with scallions and sesame seeds
