First time poster here. My partner is a vegetarian and we wanted to try a tasting menu for a celebratory dinner, the first fine dining experience for both of us in Toronto.
Reservations were easy and straight forward, and the location is easy to park at too. We visited on the 19th of June.
We were quite satisfied with the overall experience except for a minor hiccup as my partner doesn't enjoy Mushroom and I missed mentioning that prior – so that was on me.
Otherwise it was a good mix of some unexpected combinations and vegetable pairings.
My partner did the Wine pairing, while I just got a non alcoholic drink as I was driving later.
My favourites were the Spring salad, Parsley root, Strawberry & Lovage and the sourdough bread, while I enjoyed the White asparagus, Onion Sunchoke and Green pea & white chocolate.
The Zucchini blossom was good but the stock was slightly overpowering and sweet to me.
Mushroom wasn't to my liking as well – but that's more on me, as I am not too partial to mushroom in general.
The dessert – both the Mushroom ice cream and Beet tart, were good.

I would happily go back for the Spring salad and sourdough breas if I could for sure.

Overall, we are looking forward to doing this again in the future and looks like we have bitten the bug – haha.

Any suggestions on other vegetarian experiences are welcome:)

P.S I saw someone on here who mentioned collecting the menus signed by the chef, and that is something we would love to do too.
