Checked out Electric Gravy Mumbai Bar & Canteen — fun concept and atmosphere, but the food felt a bit inconsistent.

The samosas were deep-fried a little too hard, which made them tough and greasy — filling was good though.

Fries were just way too salty for me.

The $5 potato sandwich (daily special) was the surprise favorite — simple, warm, and comforting.

The pakora “fries” were confusing: chopped spinach and onion fritters, deep-fried and served like a bar snack. Super oily and the flavors didn’t really come together — not sure what they were going for, but it didn’t quite land.

Chicken tikka masala had solid flavor, but again, too salty.

The tadka fried chicken on naan was flavorful and well-balanced — definitely a highlight.

Indian food is already incredible in its traditional form — I appreciate creative takes, but sometimes simpler is better.
