While I am an avid baker, this time I am not showcasing my own work. This was just too beautiful not share with the internet.
My husband and I have a tradition where we re-order a mini version of our wedding cake for our anniversary and the bakery genuinely outdid themselves this year! The cake was only $109 CAD and the flavour is vanilla espresso. It has a super light layer of buttercream on the outside while the inside is delicious, delicious cake. We currently hold the title of having the best tasting wedding cake of all our friends and family.

Funny thing, we *also* had a good-tasting wedding cake (in the 90s, when most wedding cakes didn’t taste great), and our wedding cake was also ocean-themed! We had two glass kissing fish as the topper. This is really a stunner!

That’s GORGEOUS! We also had a beach themed and on the beach wedding!! Also vanilla espresso sounds amazing! Our cake flavor was also a smash hit – ube with chocolate ganache 🥰 I wonder if I could find a baker to do a mini version of ours for a decent price, but until then maybe I’ll save the idea for our 5 year anniversary.
Anyways that’s enough about me lol. This cake is stunning and that is SUCH a cute tradition!
