Peppers go on every time so far lol. I've done bison burgers, brats, ribs, and now BBQ chicken! What do y'all think I should try next?

  1. Dude I’ve been there! I had a tiny camp grill and it started the urge to grill everything. Then I wanted to smoke things using the snake method and learned the little Walmart grill was too small then I got a free bigger charcoal grill and you can do anything with it! I just smoked a 12 pound pork shoulder lining my charcoal around the edge of the grill and lighting one end and letting it follow the snake.

The best grill I’ve ever owned; a fb marketplace 25 dollar Weber kettle.

It’s not all about the grill. You can get amazing results on any setup so long as you are familiar with how it behaves and you know how to work it.

Best bbq I’ve ever had in my life was made by a friend of mine on a cinder block fire pit with a goodwill cast iron grill grate.

  3. I call it a “Gateway Grill” it gets you going!

This is all you need for starting, its perfect! Enjoy it and learn heat control every rig is different but the best place to start is the basics. Just remember the rabbit hole is extremely deep on grilling and expensive but oh the memories it can bring priceless and timeless

One of my absolute favorite things on the grill is zucchini. Marinade it in some olive oil, fresh chopped garlic, lemon, S&P. Only needs a few min per side on the grill and then pop it right back into the leftover marinade when it comes off. Eat immediately. Nothing says summer like that. I like it with a flank steak and potatoes

Looks great! If you enjoy grilled onions, slice one into medallions, brush some olive oil on them, and toss them on while cooking other stuff.

Yes, you will likely sacrifice a ring or two to the Grill Gods when flipping them, but it’s a small price to pay.

  7. $20 or $2000. All you need is a box that holds charcoal!

Pork chops are usually the best bang for your buck for us, nice bbq porkchops and a salad are cheap filling meals

Made many good meals on a cheap rectangular grill back in the day. I have nice stuff at home now because I can afford it but there’s nothing wrong with these guys. Cooking good food with the tools you have and can afford is something to be proud of.

I think I had one of these where the bottom rusted out after about 3 years. It was replaced with the Weber one touch that’s now going on its 15th year.
