Carbon tomatoes certainly live up to the hype. It’s our first year growing them and boy are they delicious! Crimson red and extremely juicy inside. Meaty, flavorful, nearly perfect. I’ve had some minor cracking but the rain has been wild in SW Ohio this year. I recommend this variety to anyone looking for a solid slicer.

Oh God, why am I looking at this and already want to eat it? I just ate. But it’s beautiful.

Still waiting for my first carbon this year (4b) but if it’s anything like this, I can’t wait! 🤤

  4. That tomato shouldn’t have dressed that way if it didn’t want to be treated that way

That is beautiful! I grow Cherokee-Carbon, which is an F1 hybrid cross of the two named parents. I never tried growing heirloom Carbon. It certainly does look good.
