Cooking in general was a lawless wasteland throughout most of the 60s and 70s.

I like how he’s like “this is a particularly fine fillet” and then proceeds to beat the shit out of it lol

I’d eat it, just to make sure it isn’t secretly tasty.

I think swap the bacon for some proscutto or something a bit more cured than and some seasoning and it could be good.

The avo is a bit weird, I’ve never had a cooked avo before. I think an unripe cooked avo would be different than how we are used to them now. Any one tried a cooked unripe avo? can’t be too different in texture than the pear nd tey both would be sweet.

This is why I as an Australian, proclaim we don’t have a national cuisine!!! This is it!!!

Funny how old this is but it’s like they used today’s clickbait algorithm to come up with it. No seasoning? Check! Rolling ingredients for no purpose? Check! Bake the shit out of it? Check!

What a waste of time beating his meat 😂

40 mins at 230 degrees isn’t that much but then I remembered I’m a dirty American and was thinking in Fahrenheit

Is there any Australians in here?

    I’m not here to judge.

Switch out the peaches for pineapple, and I would say this might be pretty good.

What’s wrong honey? You’ve barely touched your Beef Mildura!

Y’all I do hate it, but I’ve seen far worse food crimes, especially from that decade

  19. Reminds me somehow of the Czech “španělský ptáček”, AKA spanish bird. A weird name for meat rolled around pickles, hard-boiled eggs, meatloaf and fatback. Sear the meat, roll it, oven bake it. Sounds odd, looks odd, tastes absofuckinglutely fantastic.

Link to the Czech wiki, because the English one doesn’t have a proper picture.

Immortan chef: Do not, my friends, become addicted to flavor. It will take hold of you, and you will resent its absence!
