I’m not usually a fan of filet because of the lack of fat…but I bet a wagyu version would sit about perfect. Enjoy!!

Being a man from Idaho who can’t afford that beef, I envy you.

My wife got me some SRF steaks for Christmas. Seriously, seriously high quality.

Your cook looks perfect, that’s a primo piece of filet.

You did the thing. I’m also not usually a fillet guy but god damn I’d eat this every time. Pat yourself on the back and then cook another.

A good vet could bring that back lol a little too rare for my liking but must be absolutely amazing for those who enjoy this level of cook. Awesome job 👌

One of the best cooks I’ve seen in awhile.

SRF gold label filets are the best quality steaks I’ve had aside from authentic graded steaks from Japan.

  8. Steak looks delicious. But talk to me about that beautiful knife.

Why is the knife so clean? And did you transfer it into a new pan to take these pictures?

Framing on the bottom is about a 1/16th off. Jeez rookie. 😉

That is really beautiful. I am jealous!

Snake river doesn’t have true Wagyu, they have American Wagyu which is angus cross-bread with select cattle from Japan. It’s basically prime angus.

Is that a metal plate? Aggggg I’d hate that

  15. That’s not rare. It does look perfect, but not rare.
