Skordalia made with ground almonds – rich, bold, and seriously garlicky. 🧄 Perfect twist on a Greek classic!
This version is also prefect for non-gluten and keto diet without the bread!

Ingredients;
150 gr ground almonds
6-7 garlic cloves, crushed
100 ml olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
Splash red wine vinegar
Salt to taste
Crushed black pepper
Small glass of water [to adjust texture]

Method:

1. Crush the garlic to form a paste
2. In a bowl mix the ground almonds with the garlic
3. Add the splash of vinegar , the lemon juice,black pepper and salt
4. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil to form a paste.If the texture is too firm, slowly add some water, until a thick creamy texture is made.

This can be part of your Greek meze dishes combined with my other recipes.Ideally served with crusty bread, grilled vegetables, and of course some white wine to wash it down 🙂

If you like garlic, this dish is for you. With ground almonds. So, add your garlic to a bowl. Sprinkle in the crushed almonds. Mix well. Add some vinegar, some lemon, some salt, some black pepper. Now, drizzle in your olive oil and mix well. If it’s a bit thick, add some cold water and mix a little bit in at a time to get that beautiful creamy texture. Place in a bowl. Spread around. Olive oil, green onions, crusty bread, glass of wine, calibration.
