This is seriously like 2 cups of veggies. I also weighed it and it was only 250 grams instead of the predicted 85×5=425 grams. You can’t food me 😤

I’ve run into the same issue with frozen broccoli. I weigh out what should be 3 cups of broccoli frozen but it doesn’t look more than 1.5-2 cups. Not sure if the weight is suppose to be after it is cooked because I have a lot of water come out when I microwave it.

Edit: so I googled it and it’s suppose to be weighed frozen.

If it’s intended to be a side dish and not a meal then that very well could be five servings

85g seems to be the standard “serving size” for frozen veggies in Canada, at least in my experience.

I know this is bc of the difference in weight from frozen to cooked, but also feels like a good place for a reminder that serving sizes are based off the amount a person typically eats *not* the amount they *should* eat. And sometimes this amount changes to reflect changes in manufacturing and packaging sizes (as in, sodas used to come in X oz containers but now they’re in smaller Y oz containers, so the serving size for sodas is smaller across all sodas bc the average person consumes less soda per serving *because* of the packaging difference).

Helpful tip: I use these bags of frozen veggies as ice packs after my husband beats me! Great for black eyes and abrasions! 😉 It’s my fault for getting dinner on the table too slow!

Ive noticed most things i buy don’t have nearly the listed servings. Especially on things like chips
