Apparently, this girl has a propane start and the propane starters dead. Is this a good deal I mean, I really don’t care for the propane starter but research shows the starters like 30 bucks.

Yeah, it’s a good deal. They are about $600 new.

Not a good deal, but a Great deal! Go snatch it up before someone else does!

A deluxe kettle in this condition would be a good deal for $100, the fact that it’s a one-touch performer only makes it more so. If you’re not going to buy it, dm me w/ where it is, and if it’s close, I’ll go buy it.

If you pass it up for that price you’re insane.

Don’t even have to read your post, not any replies. The answer to the title is simple, yes!

Pull the trigger on the deal. I bought a used one very similar to yours, spend an afternoon deep cleaning it, and it has been a fantastic addition to cooking options.

Got mine off Facebook Marketplace about 6 years ago for $75. Still going strong. You just need an adapter to hook it up to a standard propane tank, or just use the smaller Coleman ones. The pietzo electric ignition is a cinch to repair and it will probably outlast the heat death of the universe.

Very good deal. If you dont want to deal with replacing the starter just use one of these electrical heating elements on Amazon. They’re inexpensive and easy to use

It’s an awesome deal. A new one is $599 and there are many tutorials on YouTube on how to replace the igniter on the Webber grill depending on model…

Great deal and I love the propane starter. Did you try changing the battery on the starter? That and cleaning out any cobwebs in the pipe that leads to the kettle are the only issues I’ve ever had with my starter not working.

Send me the link so I can tell the seller how terrible the deal is.

I bought mine a few years ago used for $250, you did very good! Double check that the starter button doesn’t need a new AAA battery, you can just unscrew it and the battery is behind the button. If the battery doesn’t work, you can just turn on the gas and use a lighter to start the propane. I really like using the propane starter for mine, I use it just for a minute or two to get the coals going and then smooth sailing!

    Definitely a good deal

Is it the ignition that’s bad? Mine went out and I use a stick lighter to get it going.

Propane start is awesome. Light it up, put your chimney over it and let it go for 5 minutes then turn it off. Coals will be ready in 20-30 minutes. No messing around with newspaper.

  14. Thanks all,

Emailed the person and according to Facebook “good luck as the seller doesn’t reply”

  15. Key-Ad-1873

Yes it is a good deal, more often than not the dead starter is just battery corrosion. Pull the push button for the starter off, clean the contacts with some sand paper, and get a new AAA battery and it might work. That’s all mine needed, I paid 180 for it and some grill utensils and some bags of charcoal. Grab it before someone else does

Most I’d offer would be $50. That’s an older one with the plastic table and old-style ash pan. I would and did hold out for a newer gen.

  17. Droodforfood

Terrible deal, tell me the address so I can go complain to the seller

  18. Due_Swordfish_7522

For $100, everything is a good deal, nowadays.

  19. It’s a steal, people post this shit all the time, but then it happened to me, and I found a brand new performer for $75 at a garage sale, I hope everyone finds their performer for $100 or less now, I like the blue.

They vary a lot in pricing…. BUT, for 100…jump at it. Worst case you buy 45 usd in grates and you have a spot for your plate to take off and rest.
