Recipe? Love some coffee rub. Had a coffee rubbed duck thigh and leg at Emeril’s a long time ago. It was so good!

Coffee rub with grounds or brewed coffee?
I’v had steaks rubbed with ground coffee and the result is like eating a sandy steak.

There’s a beef company here in California known for their quality meat called Harris Ranch. They also have a restaurant with a runway on the property that serves a coffee and sage ribeye on the breakfast menu. I stop every time I’m driving or flying between NorCal and SoCal. I know it sounds gross to put coffee grounds on a steak but it’s on my top five list of best steaks ever.
