I love smoking ribs, but sometimes I equally enjoy just blasting them on high heat. Finish temp still around 200-205. Get a bit of a crust, touch of smoke, juicy and tender with a little chew. Little man wanted ribs for his bday, we came thru! 🔥

These look great and I agree, I like them both ways. When I would do them like this, I call them Weekday Ribs.
What temp?
Did you wrap them at all? I love both grilled ribs and smoked ribs. I definitely need to wrap though to help break down the collegan or it’s too tough.
How do you control flaring? I have had fires even when burners set to low when I try direct grilling.
