Ok, a dumb question but what buns do you use? Those look like the perfect size?

Fantastic. Always have trouble here finding the right size buns for sausage and peppers. Need to look again! Thanks.

Not add the peppers and onions into a little bit of spaghetti sauce and add pepper jack cheese to the bun. We call them spaghetti brats. You can also add a dash of tiger sauce.

Man, those buns were built for those sausages!

The lack of restaurants that sell an italian sausage hoagie with a full sausage link instead of ground or sliced sausage is depressing. One of my favorite sandwiches of all time.
I like to add a little mozzarella and marinara on mine too. And if I’m going all out, I first toast the inside of the bun like garlic bread before I nestle the sausage inside
