CANTON, MI – It is kind of like Qdoba or Chipotle, but Mediterranean. CAVA has just opened its first Michigan fast-casual restaurant.

Located at 43450 Ford Road in Canton, CAVA offers customers 38 ingredient choices with the possibility to create around 17 billion combinations of bowls, pitas and more.

“We’re thrilled to join the Southeast Michigan community and introduce more guests to the bold, vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean,” said Gino Carlin, Regional Leader at CAVA. “Entering the state of Michigan marks our 28th state, and we’re eager to welcome more guests in the Midwest and throughout the country to our table to enjoy our Mediterranean cuisine and hospitality.”

CAVA is known for its bowls, pitas, chips, dips, juices, and dressings.

Meat choices include spicy lamb, grilled chicken, Harissa honey chicken and steak. There’s also falafels and salad bowls, along with house-made beverages, desserts and its popular hot harissa pita chips.

CAVA in Canton is open daily from 10:45 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. The chain says it has plans to expand with more Michigan restaurants beginning later this year.
