Every time I see grilled lettuce I think of Gordon Ramsey

If you didnt remove the base of the romaine theres no way the lettuce is clean and unwashed romaine lettuce is a huge food safety risk

I appreciate the use of Romaine here – far easier to eat than iceberg. I just cannot have a wedge anymore, not after the bout of food poisoning I had at a steak house in San Diego from one.
