Id much rather get an offset smoker over a 2xl. The weight, the chance of cracking would really make me hesitant to buy it. An offset offers better airflow, a stick burner chamber and ease of use.

Since its a 2xl with a lifetime warranty, its worth buying it for that deal of a price. Personally, I wouldn’t want one THAT big, unless i had a family. My regular ol’ large suits me just fine.
I do briskets on my rectec … that woule be the only thing that might sway my to get a larger size, the large (even the xl) is a little cramped to do a full packer.
