Still early in my carnivore journey, bought a couple of T-bones for dinner and found this oozing out. Does anyone know what it could be and if this is safe to eat? 🥹 located in Melbourne, Aus.
Thank you in advance

Just coagulated blood. Flick it off or leave it, doesn’t matter.

Blood. It will cook grey and is fine to eat.

So is this OP trolling us….?

How does OP not know what blood is, if they’re cooking a steak?

It’s myoglobin. Perfectly safe to eat. Either wipe it off or flip the steak.

Just a small blood clot. Scrape it off, flip that wagon, and enjoy!

Blood can exist like that in meat after butchering and get squeezed out as the meat cooks. It’s perfectly fine, just cook it as normal

“Dallas, I’m not gonna open the airlock. We have quarantine procedures for a reason.

    “Oh! Damn it, Ash!”

It happens every time you kill a horcrux

  9. Don’t eat it, otherwise you’ll have The Curse of The Black Pearl.

You ever fried pork chops before? lol ! You would probably freak out! It’s just blood being fried out of the meat or marrow from the bone ! It’s very common but it does look a bit off putting but actually adds great flavor in my opinion! But I love my meat yo’ !!! lol
