Recently moved to ny, missing my hometown food truck that sold a bulgogi beef dish over garlic noodles (description of each dish above). I’d order the bulgogi sesame and sub garlic noodles in for rice.

Anywhere in the city I can find a bulgogi over garlic noodle dish? I know I won’t find an exact match, but something close would be ideal.

Best garlic noodles I’ve had were at Bricolage in Park Slope, but no bulgogi I’m afraid.

Can’t speak to bulgogi but Xi’an Famous Noodles will always give you an incredible quick noodle fix. Proteins more lamb and pork focused though

I’d give Woorijip and/ or KOBA BBQ a try – fair bit of customisation possibly at the latter and one of the best quick Korean grab and goes in the city at Woorijip. Their lunch offers have a fairly similar offering to what you’ve posted imo

You’re not going to find it. This is something your old food truck guy came up with that is Korean inspired. Not remotely traditional.

  5. Jubilee Marketplace hot bar might be worth checking out? Multiple locations.

I was like $14, we are not in NYC anymore.

Nope, best bet is to make it yourself. Bulgogi and garlic noodles are both fairly simple and easy dishes to cook.

Trader Joe’s sells their garlicky pasta and bulgogi (premade), you would have to assemble it together. I’d also try looking through h mart – Samsung foods has a new brand called “tangled” and they have an instant garlic noodle, pair that with their premarinated beef and you have a decent meal. I can’t think of a restaurant that has both though.
