(knife tapping) (upbeat music) – Hi, everybody. New kitchen, new home. I moved. This is the first video
that I filmed in this house. This is little bit bigger
than my previous kitchen. So the first video I’m
filming in my new house is Mu-saengchae, radish
salad, country style. Whenever I make this, very popular. Korean radish, you can find
this in Korean grocery store. Find a really good quality. You can see very smooth surface and like a lot of green part and nice. I hope the inside is good. Which is not good radish, when I cut it, inside is like a spongy-looking. Don’t make it. Don’t waste your seasoning. (peeler clunking) The tap part. (knife taps) (water splashing) We need just one pound. Not bad. (knife clunking) Okay, this is one pound. (knife scratching and clunking) (knife tapping) (radish clunking) (knife scraping) And we need one green onion
and two garlic cloves. Gallic first. (hand tapping) (hand tapping) (knife tapping) Chop green onion. (knife tapping) (water splashing) Wash my weapon. (chuckling) Very convenient. (cutting board clunking)
(water splashing continues) Two tablespoons hot
pepper flakes, gochugaru. Fish sauce, two tablespoons. A lot of sesame oil, about two tablespoon. I forgot to say that some people say this. “Maangchi, you forgot
to say (sesame Oeeel~).” And sesame seeds. Very nutty, toasted sesame
seeds, one tablespoon. Look at that. It should
be delicious, right? Okay, and wash your hands before mixing. (water splashing) (chuckling) You gotta followed
my step-by-step direction. Okay, mix. This is also, we call this jjan-ji. Jjan-ji is kind of salty salad in Korean because this is going
to be served with rice. I use a lot of sesame oil so it looks very shiny and juicy. (radish squishing) Smells really good. Garlicy, sesame oil. More sesame seeds. Oh, look at that. Wow, look at that. I usually eat like a lot
things with rice like this. (teeth crunching) Today I showed you how to make Korean country style
radish salad, Mu-saengchae. Sesame oil, lots of sesame
oil inside, and little salty, so always serve for rice or noodles. Enjoy my recipe. See you next time, bye. (upbeat music)

  6. Hi Maangchi ! I was wondering if you could give us a recipe for spicy chicken feet? Thank you for all your great recipes! Every time I want to make korean food, I always search if Maangchi has one and usually I find what I am looking for but I can't find chicken feet!! If there is one can you comment with the link to it please? Again thank you so much! I love you!❤

  7. I Love to know what is that soufflé like stoneware steamed thing at the end of the video? While serving the radish salad with rice. Thank you!

  8. @maangchi would rice vinegar work verses fish sauce? Fish sauce has so much sodium that I can have. This looks yummi!
