this is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time and my job is literally to eat sandwiches That’s like getting a recommendation for a good BBL doctor from one of the Kardashians I usually have a clever explanation about why I’m making what I’m making But honestly for this one I don’t really know how to explain it because it doesn’t really make a lot of sense but at the same time it does make a lot of sense So I’m just going to walk you through my thought process and hopefully you respect what I’ve done and decide to leave a like on the video to help me out But don’t like the video yet Wait until the end I don’t want a free like I want to earn it So I had this Iberco pork pastrami that I wanted to eat but I didn’t want to make a typical pastrami sandwich because I really like breaking rules I knew that I would need some sort of spice or acidity to balance out the fat in the pastrami So I made a sweet Thai chili sauce And then instead of using sauerkraut I use some thinly sliced fresh green cabbage and tossed it in the chili sauce The chili sauce manages to add some sweetness and spice but to get some acidity into the sandwich I use banana peppers which are in my opinion super underrated as a sandwich topping I probably could have stopped there and the sandwich would have been delicious but I’m glad I didn’t because I decided to bring in some freshness with a healthy amount of cilantro It’s nothing like a typical pastrami sandwich but it doesn’t need to be because it’s super delicious And hopefully that’s enough to earn your like before you keep scrolling

  1. nice sandwich but there is no valid reason for taking sauerkraut out of a recipe, if it's in the recipe, it stays. Sauerkraut is just too delicious. (Im actually so sorry for complaining, Im polish so… apparently I have to…)

  2. “Hope you leave a like to help me out likes but don’t like yet I wanna earn it unlikes like bruh rlly reed me like a book😭

  3. I love anything pickled, but banana peppers always overpower what I'm eating. Peperoncinis or cherry peppers are all around better in my opinion. Especially cherry peppers. 🤌
