Tel Aviv Grill and Hummus Bar and Grill in the valley have amazing shawarma and pita/lafa. Avicue is also good, but only beef

If you’re willing to drive to Fountain Valley, Ikram Grill at 405 and Warner rolls the flatbread into a burrito type thing. You can eat there or take it across the street to Mile Square Park.

In Anaheim they have little Arabia. A friend of mine is from Iraq and loves this area. He recommended Zait and Zatar and it did not disappoint.
That is feckin Zaytoons! Christ man, why did you have to do this to me. Now going to spending the rest of the day craving a kebab that’s 8 thousand KM away!

It’s not flatbread, but the greatest authentic Syrian-style shawarma you’ll find is Miya Miya; served on important shrak bread. West Edge on Fridays and Smorgasburg in DTLA on Sundays.
