Dine LA, the twice-a-year event where restaurant-goers can eat at a discounted rate around town, returns from July 25 to August 8, 2025. It is one of the most affordable ways to try new spots, but with hundreds of participating restaurants, the most difficult part is figuring out where to go. This summer’s notable lunch options include seafood from a Pasadena favorite, daytime flavors at Majordomo in Chinatown, and cookies in Culver City and Redondo Beach. There’s never been a better year to take advantage of Dine LA’s deals, as restaurants throughout the region have been struggling since the Palisades and Eaton fires, and since early June, as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) began a series of large-scale immigration sweeps across Southern California. Between the wildfires and targeting communities that work in restaurants, SoCal restaurants feel the impact.
