I have used this service on and off for a good 5 year or more and its over 75% late no matter where I send it. Is anyone else having this issue? Normally I dont mind but Im in florida now so a day late means nothing is frozen and I have to go rebuy my chicken cause im not eating warm humid chicken.. They gave me a refund but I still dont think its worth my time to continue (FedEx has Always delivered my packages).

Might be a neighbor or somebody can start bringing it in for you? I don’t know, just trying to help. :/

I’m in central fl and they usually always come on the day they are intended. Mine are usually by veho or ups(hate ups).

I only can talk about the services here in Munich, Germany – it works like a clockwork, always delivered at the same time every Saturday.
The only thing I can complain about is, that UPS often doesn’t ring the bell anymore and just leaves it in front of the door in the summer sun. Not as brutal as the Florida sun, but still not great.

But this is a delivery problem, not a hello fresh problem as it seems…

Sounds like the issue is fedex, maybe call them to see if they can explicate this

FedEx is a joke. That’s the problem really.

Probably not hello fresh’s fault. Appears to be the carrier. In my neighborhood, DHL is horrible, but UPS and Fed Ex are fine. So use a meal delivery service that uses the good one in your area, problem solved.

I had issues for months, they finally switched carriers and I have not had issues since.

Shifting what day of the week you have it delivered on may result in UPS picking it up — they are far more reliable when it comes to getting your HelloFresh there on time.

FedEx woofed it every time they delivered. After the 2nd or 3rd melted or damaged package, I messaged the chat support and told them I prefer UPS to deliver and what days of the week could we shift to to make that happen. They were able to help, but I’m sure it was because of location and availability.

I haven’t used HF in years, but switching shipping providers allowed me to keep using it for longer with better results.

That seems odd. We’ve never had our’s not delivered on the date it was supposed to be delivered. Sometimes it’s late in the day, but it’s never been late by even a day, let alone days.

Fed ex fucked me over for the last three weeks in Indiana. I’m just cancelling. I mostly did it to learn how to cook for myself. I hate going to the grocery store but having stuff missing all the time and being late makes the higher price not worth it. Feels like quality all around has gotten poor

I live in outside Seattle, and mine have always been delivered on time by UPS. The different drivers always put my box on the porch and in the shade during the summer, and out of the rain during the rest of the year.

Maybe it’s because our UPS drivers are all Union and don’t have the same ‘ring and run’ rules as other regions, or maybe they just care more…

  12. FedEx always delivers my box. I have had zero problems. Knock on wood.

Having worked in the wonderful world of mail I’m surprised these services have so many subscribers still. **Thousands** of these blasting down the conveyors, boxes getting crushed under their own weight in the chutes, shit opening up, don’t know which items came from which boxes, huge headache. Always feel bad when I see em sitting in the QA corner for days

Hello fresh (and home chef) could help themselves by investing in some sturdier packaging though, there was another company that delivered frozen Chicago style pizzas(can’t remember the name) who’s boxes never got fucked up even under the weight of a hundred of em

I had day late deliveries 2 weeks in a row and called HF. We were the first delivery (on the right day) this week. If it happened again we would definitely cancel.

Mine has always been delivered on time with no issues

I signed up and my first box had not arrived two days after it was supposed to.

I got a refund and canceled my subscription.

The box arrived that day, ice pack was melted and meat was tepid.

    Sooooo gross.

  17. Ours always seemed to arrive perfectly, but man they gotta quit lying about prep and cook times… 🙄🤥
