Today I’m going to show you guys how to do a pork loin in the Instant Pot. We’re going to do barbecue pork. So, you just need a giant pork loin like this one and one 16 oz bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce. This pork loin is 6 lbs and it’s going to take about 40 to 60 minutes in the Instant Pot. All right. So, I have cut the pork loin up into smaller pieces. And I also removed some of the fat because there’s a really big fat cap on it. And you don’t need that much fat. You can always add butter to your Instant Pot if you’d like, but it’s that’s not even necessary. You just need a minimum of one cup of water. So, I’m putting this in first, but keeping about a half cup. I’ll show you why later. And then I’m also going to put about half of the bottle of barbecue sauce in. There we go. And then I will put my pork in. If you have like any pieces with fat on them, put fat side down. So, it’s going to look like this. And then with your barbecue sauce container, it’s all dumped in. I’m going to take that water that I reserve and just pour it in there so that we can get everything all the goodness out and dump that on top. Okay, so if you’re familiar with the Instant Pot, then you know that we want to do high pressure. We don’t need the delay. Keep warm. We are going to turn off. So, let me change the time here. Oops. Sorry, wrong one. We want to do more than 40 minutes because this meat takes a while. We got a lot in there. Okay, high pressure. We’re good there. Oops. And okay, so the only thing I want to turn off is the keep warm. Turn that off. Okay. And then we can start our Instant Pot. Now, the reason why you don’t want the keep warm on is it because it’s going to keep that pressure um and we’re going to want it to release naturally. When you have a really full Instant Pot or something that gives off a lot of juice or say you’re doing soup, you never want to do a manual release where you’re pressing the button and releasing the steam yourself because you will get a very, very scalding hot shower of whatever liquid is in your Instant Pot. So, um, a couple little troubleshooting things. If you get a little notice across here that says burn, you simply don’t have enough liquid in there. And what you can do is you can shut it off. Sometimes you have to wait for the pressure to release. Sometimes you’re able to just kind of pulse it and slowly release pressure yourself. And you can kind of stir things up. If you need to add liquid, you can add liquid. I’ve had that notice and I know I have enough liquid in it and the notice goes away. So, that’s just something that could happen. But, if you put a cup of water in, it’s probably not going to. Again, we’re just going to do the natural release and I will show you what this guy what this looks like when we’re all done. All right, this is completely done now. It released all the pressure. It took about an extra 45 minutes. So during that time that it was releasing that pressure, it was continuing to cook and really trapping in the juices. The entire house smells so good. So this is what it looks like currently. It is extremely hot, so you might want to wait for it to cool down. But I’m going to transfer it to my glass pan here and shred it with my meat claws. Okay, so this is really zero effort to shred. This meat is so tender. It’s the same anytime you do chicken in here. Oh, it’s so good. Look at this. It’s just so easy. This is perfect for pulled pork tacos. We’re going we’re going to have these on my gluten-free hamburger buns. I do have this recipe already up on my channel. You can go check that out. And I’m just going to cut these in half. Put these on here. Come over to the Instant Pot real quick. As you can see, we have so much yummy juices. I will probably use about 60% of it. I’m going to put back on the meat. And then I have additional barbecue sauce. The rest of the juice, you can still save that. You can use it to cook your rice or quinoa in during the week and make savory eggs with quinoa. Don’t waste it. It’s really good meat juice and barbecue sauce. So, I’m just going to take this right here and pour it over the meat. And it’s going to reabsorb quite a lot of it. Actually, we’ll give it a few minutes to absorb it. Okay. So, it’s it’s currently absorbing juices, and we’re just going to add a little extra barbecue sauce here. I’m going to whip out some shredded cheese, some shredded lettuce, and we’re just going to make really delicious pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. I hope you enjoyed this video.
